As part of Takeda Oncology’s ongoing commitment to putting patients first, we strive to connect people navigating a cancer diagnosis, their caregivers and their healthcare providers with the information and support they seek.

To support that goal, coupled with our ongoing commitment to all modes of research, Takeda Oncology commissioned a survey conducted by The Harris Poll to learn more about the individual perspectives of people living with multiple myeloma and the hematologists/oncologists who treat them. We recognize the importance of open dialogue between patients and their physicians and how it can help achieve their shared treatment goals. The findings of this survey, as well as recommended resources for improving the patient journey, comprise Takeda Oncology’s Patient-Physician Dialogue Index, the first publicly available report on multiple myeloma patient-physician communication dynamics.
