Ana Paula Neves | Head of Ethics & Compliance, Global Oncology Business Unit | Takeda Oncology

Ana Paula Neves is Head of E&C for the Oncology Business Unit. She joined Takeda in 2016 as Head of E&C for Latin America, and since January 2019 has been Head, E&C for Brazil. She is currently a member of the Global Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Leadership Team and Oncology Leadership Team (OLT). Ana is responsible for ensuring the continuity of a culture based on our values and ethical decision-making and establishing effective controls for training, monitoring, due diligence, and investigations.

Ana Paula has 25 years of industry experience in different pharmaceutical companies and functions. She started her career in Clinical Research, moving later to Medical Affairs, and since 2014 she works in Ethics & Compliance. She worked in Merck and Sanofi before joining Takeda, where she was responsible for launching the Ethics & Compliance Ambassador network which was scaled up across the organization and led the effort to make Takeda Brazil recognized as having the best compliance practices in the pharmaceutical industry in the country.

Ana holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from São Paulo University and an MBA in Pharmaceutical.
